Vantage Point Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a passionateSpecial Education K–12 teacher for our education department.
Pay: $65,000 - $70,000/ yr
Current Arkansas teaching license in Special Education K–12, issued by the Arkansas Division of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) required.
The Lead Teacher will join our interdisciplinary education team to support the academic continuity of students during periods of hospitalization within our facility. This role is designed to help bridge educational gaps that may occur due to medical stays by providing individualized, high‑quality instruction aligned with students’ academic needs and home school expectations.
The Lead Teacher collaborates with students, families, medical staff, and school partners to ensure learning remains accessible, supportive, and developmentally appropriate throughout hospitalization. Instruction may occur across grade levels and subject areas and is responsive to varying lengths of stay, health needs, and learning plans
