Our state-of-the-art behavioral health hospital is a joint venture between Acadia Healthcare and Henry Ford Health. This modern, two-story facility provides compassionate, evidence-based mental healthcare for adolescents, adults, and senior adults in a calm and supportive environment designed to promote healing and recovery.

About the Role:
As an Activity Therapist, you will play a vital role in the interdisciplinary treatment team by planning, directing, and implementing therapeutic activity programs that support each patient’s individualized treatment plan. Through engaging and meaningful interventions, you will help patients build coping skills, improve social functioning, and support their overall recovery journey.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:
Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS), or
Certification in a recognized specialty area (Art Therapy, Dance/Movement Therapy, Music Therapy, etc.), or
Clinical professional licensure (LCPC, LPC, LMSW, etc.) with certification in a related expressive or activity-based therapy discipline
