PURPOSE STATEMENT:

This position requires a thorough understanding of facility’s treatment program and philosophy. This individual must have an ability to coordinate and supervise the calls/emails that come in from a current patient’s family/loved one’s. Understand what the patients experience at Wilmington is like and can describe that to family.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  This is a moderately complex position requiring the individual to serve as a primary link between the current patient family/loved ones to the clinical, nursing, and medical staff. Must always be friendly and helpful on all phone calls with family and loved ones of current patients and resolution driven with great follow through.

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

• Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:                

• High school graduate with college degree preferred.
• One-year experience in the substance abuse field.
• Must exhibit excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to work with male and female, adult (18-over) substance abuse/dually diagnosed population.
