​Serenity Knolls is located in the San Geronimo Valley just 10 minutes West of Fairfax has a new opening for a Driver Technician to join our team. Serenity Knolls is a 42 bed co-ed facility serving ages 18 and up. Included in the 42 bed capacity are 6 beds available for detox. Serenity Knolls is a 12 step based, social model residential treatment center. The Knolls uniquely combines the traditional social model of care with contemporary cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic and evidence based practice.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF A DRIVER TECHNICIAN:

· Pick up or transports visitors & staff as needed.

· Transport patients for admissions and discharges.

· Drive company facility vehicle to pick-up supplies or equipment, as needed.

· Accurately and appropriately complete all transportation documentation.

· Maintain vehicle log(s) and report maintenance issues to appropriate facility staff

· Ensure all company vehicles are kept clean and functional. 

Additional Duties Include: 

· Make new bedding packages for scheduled bed moves & discharges.

· Guest Bed Moves (1-7 each day); refresh rooms, make beds, move guest & belongings to new room.

· Clean & disinfect rooms and all facility bathrooms, as needed.

· Organize & bag dirty laundry (towels, sheets, blankets). Clean house laundry.

· Transport kitchen supplies.

· Inventory Office Supplies & Report

· Serve as an office "runner"

· Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards our guests always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

· Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:

· Valid state driver's license (if required by state).

· CPR, First Aid, and de-escalation/restraint certification preferred but not required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
