Overview

Outpatient Therapist ($1,500 Sign-On Bonus!)

 

We are seeking a Full-Time Licensed Therapist (CMHC, ACMHC, LCSW, CSW, MFT, and/or AMFT) to expand our outpatient services! This is an opportunity to make a profound difference in the lives of those struggling with Mental Health and Substance Use issues as they work towards a positive outcome on their path to wellness.

Job Type: Full-time, Mon-Fri 8am-4pm

Pay: $33.50 - $38.50 per hour

$1,500 SIGN-ON BONUS TO BE PAID OUT AFTER 90 DAYS OF SERVICE

Responsibilities

The following job description is not inclusive of all job responsibilities:

 

· Maintain a caseload of PHP and IOP clients including 1:1 therapy sessions, facilitate/co-facilitate groups. Family programming as scheduled

· Schedule is Monday – Friday 8am-4pm

· Complete bio/psycho/social assessments to determine level of care required, problem areas to be addressed and diagnostic considerations

· Develop, implement, and maintain individualized treatment plan and continued stay reviews. Maintain all clinical documentation including discharge summaries and instructions

· Provide Mental Health therapy and treatment in accordance with best practices, policies and procedures established by Turning Point and the standards set by professional licensing agencies

· Provide a coordinated approach to the delivery of mental health treatment (case management) by assessing, planning, advocating, linking, referring, and monitoring progress and ensuring clients receive appropriate services to address specific needs and achieve stated goals

· Attend weekly feedback/supervision, monthly staff meetings, clinical training classes and workshops

Qualifications

Qualifications:

 

· Education: MUST have Master’s degree from accredited college / university

· Licenses: Current license to practice therapy from Utah Dept of Professional Licensing – CMHC, MFT, or LCSW. Associate’s level license is acceptable, and position includes supervision

· Experience: 1 year + working in Behavioral Health

· Must be able to pass a federal background check through the Department of Human Services (Violent/Sexual/Predatory charges and/or convictions will result in denial of background check)

· Ability to utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) for patient charting, medical necessity

· Excellent communication and listening skills

· Empathy and the ability to work with people in distress
