PURPOSE STATEMENT:
Assists the DON/CNO with directing, planning, coordinating, monitoring and supervising the effective and efficient use of the operations of nursing for assigned units. Oversees the delivery of behavioral health/nursing services in a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times. Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams, other departments and administration to ensure that all residents’ physical, biopsychosocial, age, developmental and cultural needs are met and when they are not met, acknowledges and works to resolve customer complaints. Provide leadership to assure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as nursing practice standards. Recognizes that patient safety is a top priority.
COMPENSATION
Compensation for roles at Pacific Grove Hospital varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, San Jose Behavioral Health provides a reasonable salary range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California as set forth below.
RN Manager Range = $100,526 annually - $155,812 annually

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Two or more years of nursing experience and previous experience with patient population of the facility is preferred. Minimum one or more years’ management, charge or administrative experience required.
