Overview

The EAP Coordinator help to those clients with the Program, to prevent problems at the workplace and their productivity.  Sells the service to those companies that are in necessity. Gives orientation and help the client to manage their situation.

Responsibilities

  1. The EAP Manager performs many responsabilities to ensure the effective operation of the program.
  2. Hire and train staff of the department.
  3. Provide staff supervision.  
  4. Obtain new contracts.
  5. Makes employees utilization reports by case.
  6. Performs educational seminars for employees and clients.
  7. Act as liaison between management and labor relations professionals.
  8. Must have excellent management skills and ability to interact well with labor relations.
  9. Must be able to manage the time effectively.
  10. May also to respond in crisis situations.
  11. Attend in-house planning and development committee meetings as requested.
  12. Adhere to facility standards concerning conduct, dress, attendance and punctuality.
  13. Promote the team concept within the facility.
  14. Prepares reports for clients and Hospital Administration as required.
  15. Responsible for increasing Business EAP accounts.
  16. Accountable for Business EAP growth.
  17. Obey any Law of the patient confidentiality as HIPAA.
  18. Make sure to execute any other important function that is assigned  the Administration.   

Qualifications

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in a Behavioral health area

 

 

EXPERIENCE: A minimum of two (2) years experience in a health care business development/marketing environment with measurable buisiness development  results, 

 

Licensure: Must have a valid driver’s license.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Skill in organizing and prioritizing workloads to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate data from statistical reports.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and co-workers, and referral sources.
  • Knowledge of computers and software programs.
  • Demonstrate above average problem solving skills.
  • Ability and able to operate a motor vehicle.
  • Able to carry a beeper and/or cellular phone.
  • Computer and software programs such as: Windows XP, Access, Power Point, Excel, Word, Publisher and others.
  • Calculator /10 key and Fax, Scanner and Copier machines.
  • Program and Plan Manuals, policies and procedures.
  • Personal motor vehicle-must have operator’s state license.
